I need to quench this thirst before there´s nothing left
it's like a trend, everything gets dried and dead
we don't know what it is, so we exhaust land and sea
self denial as a sin, building apathy
They took our hunger, they took our teeth to make a rosary of pain
to conspire, to control, to pray for everything to stay the same
like the shepherds of our will, but it's not still waters where they lead
they bring the drought to our souls, oceans of sand and we're distant shores
There's one thing in my head
I need to quench this thirst
before there's nothing left
It's like a ring, we commit to the sin, and start the disconnection from within
the land and air, love ones and friends, our thoughts erased until there's nothing left
There was a time when everything was in tune
we drained our souls and the world
so we disconnect from all that we were
disconnect from the rest, disconnect from yourself

We've been walking for so long under a blazing ever watching sun, you see
Through a picture still in time, it's like hell but before suicide
Face down on the sand, I want to give up, get dry from the inside out, it was never part of the plan
Then a snake came by, it felt my heat and crawled close by my side
Lying on the sand, the husk of a man in the place where I used to stand, but the smell of poison makes me move
This life won't hold your hand, but it just may give you one more chance
we´ll end up in the same dark hole, yet it's not the time to end it all
my body burns, my bones start to root getting into the ground, I'm becoming part of the scene
saw the face of fate, but the sun had other plans for me, I have to plant a seed
So what's your nature? are you a lamb, a wolf or a snake? you're gonna move me anyway
so what are you like, are you bringing peace or thirst?
